PAUSAS ACTIVAS
Las pausas activas hacen parte de la jornada laboral de los trabajadores, en razón a que el empleador tiene la obligación de proteger la salud y la seguridad de sus empleados, desarrollando el Sistema de Gestión de la Seguridad y la Salud en el Trabajo, con el objetivo de prevenir las lesiones y enfermedades que se pudieren causar por las condiciones del trabajo, procurando el bienestar físico, mental y social de las personas.
Estas pausas se desarrollan varias veces al día, en sesiones de mínimo 10 minutos, incluyendo:
a. Ejercicios cardiovasculares
b. Fortalecimiento muscular
c. Mejoramiento de la flexibilidad
Lo que genera hábitos de vida saludable en los trabajadores, mejorando sus condiciones físicas y disminuyendo el riesgo de aparición de patologías relacionadas con el sistema osteomuscular, entre otros.
Con el apoyo de la ARL, se deben capacitar a los trabajadores en los beneficios de la actividad física y del ejercicio, creando las rutinas adecuadas de acuerdo a los posibles riesgos que generen las actividades que desempeñan los trabajadores, ya que estas pausas activas dependerán de las diferentes secciones y sus consiguientes actividades dentro de la empresa.
Las Pausas Activas se manejan dentro del programa de acondicionamiento físico y con el seguimiento de las ARL.
La empresa debe vigilar estas actividades, con el objetivo de medir los resultados dentro del programa de promoción y prevención y del Sistema de Vigilancia Epidemiológica.
